This week, experience the striking beauty of Jamini Roy’s Lady in a Pink Saree—a bold fusion of Bengali folk art and modernist style. Celebrated for his move away from Western techniques, Roy's iconic work, housed in the National Gallery Singapore, reflects his deep cultural roots and continues to inspire through major exhibitions like 2025’s Bengal Masters: The Eye Within and Jamini Roy, Monochrome.

Your guide, Dyuti Mittal is an award winning artist and design educator with over 15 years of experience as a post graduate in Visual Communication Design. Having studied at Srishti School of Art and Design, SVA New York, UCA London and with certifications from IIT Delhi, she has in recent years taught design at various institutes of the country. Her artworks have been exhibited at various galleries of the country. She avoids definitions and her work tries to create an equal, beautiful and sensitive world where innocence and individuality are celebrated.
